Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

Welcome to The Peppermints website. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and any enquiries or bookings made with The Peppermints.

By using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Us

The Peppermints are a professional live entertainment band providing musical performances for events, venues and private and corporate functions.

Website: www.thepeppermints.co.uk

References in these Terms & Conditions to “The Peppermints”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean The Peppermints and, where appropriate, their authorised representatives.

2. Website Use

The information on this website is provided for general information and promotional purposes.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information on the website is accurate and up to date. However, performance details, repertoire, availability, personnel, prices and other information may change from time to time.

You must not misuse this website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, introduce malicious software or use its content for unlawful purposes.

3. Enquiries and Availability

Submitting an enquiry through our website, by email, telephone or through social media does not constitute a confirmed booking.

Dates remain subject to availability until a booking has been formally accepted and confirmed.

Where applicable, a separate booking agreement or written booking confirmation will set out the specific terms relating to an engagement.

4. Bookings

A booking will normally be considered confirmed once the booking requirements specified by The Peppermints have been completed. These may include:

  • Written acceptance of the booking or contract;

  • Payment of any agreed deposit or booking fee; and

  • Confirmation of the event details.

The booking confirmation or performance contract will specify details such as the event date, venue, performance times, agreed fee and any additional requirements.

Where there is any conflict between these website Terms & Conditions and a specific written performance contract, the terms of the performance contract will take precedence in relation to that booking.

5. Deposits and Payments

Where a deposit or booking fee is required, the amount and payment deadline will be confirmed before the booking is finalised.

The balance of the performance fee must be paid in accordance with the payment terms stated in the individual booking confirmation or contract.

Any additional services requested by the client may be subject to additional charges, which will be agreed before those services are provided.

6. Cancellations

Cancellation arrangements will be detailed in the relevant booking confirmation or performance contract.

Any cancellation charges will take account of the circumstances of the cancellation, the terms agreed for the particular booking and applicable UK law.

Clients should notify The Peppermints as soon as possible if they need to cancel or materially change a booking.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any statutory rights a consumer may have.

7. Changes to a Booking

If a client requests changes to the date, venue, performance times, duration or other significant details after a booking has been confirmed, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the changes.

Changes may be subject to availability and may result in an adjustment to the agreed fee.

No material change will be considered agreed until confirmed in writing.

8. Performance Requirements

The client is responsible for ensuring that the venue is suitable and safe for the performance.

Unless otherwise agreed, the client or venue should provide appropriate access to the performance area and adequate time for loading, setting up, sound checking and dismantling equipment.

Any specific requirements relating to staging, power supplies, sound equipment, changing facilities, parking, refreshments or other technical requirements will be communicated as appropriate for the booking.

9. Performance Times

Performance and arrival times will be agreed in advance.

If an event runs late for reasons outside our control, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the revised schedule where possible. However, we cannot guarantee that a performance can be extended or delayed beyond the agreed booking period.

Additional performance time may be subject to an additional fee.

10. Band Personnel

The Peppermints may occasionally need to change individual musicians or performers because of illness, availability or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where this occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a suitably experienced replacement and maintain the agreed standard and format of the performance.

11. Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control

Neither The Peppermints nor the client will be responsible for failure to perform obligations where this is caused by circumstances genuinely beyond their reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include severe weather, travel disruption, venue closure, government restrictions, serious illness or other exceptional events.

Where such circumstances arise, both parties should communicate promptly and make reasonable efforts to find an appropriate solution.

Any liability relating specifically to a live performance booking will be governed by the applicable booking agreement and relevant law.
